THE HEART OF THE BRAND

Ahava, meaning love, was born from a simple but powerful truth:

God’s love was never meant to be experienced only in private it’s meant to be carried everywhere.

What started as quiet moments with the Lord has now become a lifestyle expression through clothing, prayer blankets, devotionals, and everyday pieces that remind you:

You are loved. You are seen. You are His.

From the secret place to the streets, Ahava exists so that wherever you go, God’s love goes with you.

 

🪡  WHY “MADE BY MAKK”?

Before Ahava, there was Made by Makk.

Made by Makk is not just a name ... it’s a journey.

It began in 2018, when I started creating and selling custom wigs with nothing but faith, creativity, and a willingness to start with zero. Every piece was built from the ground up during my transition from high school into college.

But in 2021, during a season of deep spiritual warfare and transformation, the Lord called me to lay everything down.

So I did.

Even when I didn’t fully understand, I chose obedience.

 

🔥  THE REBUILDING

Years later, in 2023, God began to speak again.

Made by Makk was no longer just a business it became a biblical blog, a place for devotionals, writings, and Spirit-led expression. It became a space where everything created was no longer just handmade ...

It was God-breathed.

From that place, the vision expanded.

 

 

 

🧵  THE BIRTH OF AHAVA

Then came the word:

“Ahava: Loved by God.”

In Spring 2024, I released my first prayer blanket a black and white piece that quickly 

became more than a product.

It became a place of intimacy.
A covering.
A reminder of God’s presence.

From there, during prayer, worship, and time with the Holy Spirit, designs began to flow each one carrying meaning, scripture, and encounter.

🛍️  FROM OBEDIENCE TO EXPANSION

In 2025, during a fast, the Lord spoke clearly:

“Prepare. You will be at the market.”

At the time, I wasn’t even selling apparel. But in obedience, I learned embroidery, prepared products, and stepped out in faith. In February 2025, I sold at my first market. Since then, Ahava has grown into a faith-based brand rooted in Houston, reaching people through:

• Apparel
• Prayer blankets 
  
• Accessories
• Devotionals

Each piece created not just for style but for encounter.

 

WHAT AHAVA REPRESENTS

Ahava is premium casual wear with purpose.

It’s for the moments when:

• You’re going to church

• You’re out in the world

Because God’s love is not seasonal.
It’s not occasional.
It’s not confined.
