Stop asking God what He wants you to do next when you haven’t started what He already told you to do.

Too many times we move on too quickly. We seek a fresh word while neglecting the last one. We cry out for direction, forgetting that instruction has already been given. Heaven has spoken — so now what?

There has been prophecy released over you — through dreams, your quiet time with the Lord, or even a stranger who spoke life into your situation. The question is: What have you done with those words?

What if I’ve never received a prophetic word?

Prophecy isn’t always a loud moment in church. It can happen when you're praying, reading Scripture, or simply listening for His voice. The truth is: when God speaks, prophecy is released.

🛠️ 3 Simple Ways to Partner with Prophecy

1. Revisit the Word & Pray Over It

Prophetic words are living seeds. Revisit them, relisten to the recording, or reread your journal entries. Then pray. Ask for strategy and alignment.

Prayer:
Father, show me how to partner with this prophetic word. Help me bring it from heaven to earth. Make clear the steps I need to take. Reveal the people, timing, and actions required. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

2. Stop Overthinking It

Sometimes, there’s a word of wisdom attached to the prophecy. Seek it. Don’t overcomplicate what God made simple.

Example:
“You will work with children. Spend time with Me, and revelation will follow.”

Your action: Spend time with Him. Simple obedience releases divine momentum.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for speaking. I choose to obey. Teach me when and how to spend time with You. Let revelation flow freely. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.

3. Actually Move Forward

No more fear. No more delay. If God said it — you’re not too late, too broken, or too unqualified. Partner with His word by taking one step forward at a time.

Example:
Prophecy: “You will be a best-selling author.”
Action Steps:

1. Pray over the word
2. Ask God what to do now
3. Write down book ideas
4. Seek God’s timing
5. Learn from others (YouTube, books, courses)
6. Start — even if it’s just the title or one paragraph

Reminder: Faith without works is dead. Even a baby step is still a step forward.

We’re in Q2 now. That means the first quarter of the year is gone. Before you ask for a new vision, go back and review what God already said.

📝 Pull out your journals.
📱 Rewatch that prophetic word.
🙏 Ask the Lord for fresh fire to obey.

Declare over yourself:
“I am a __________.”
(fill in the blank: author, CEO, intercessor, designer, therapist, teacher...)

Don’t let the word fall to the ground just because you haven’t seen it yet.
